Corbyn Doorstep Failure

On Saturday 8th August 2026, Corbyn came to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to give a talk at the Stand in York Place. Pete Gregson was one of many who were suspended or expelled from Labour when Corbyn was leader. It was at the Brighton Labour Conference in 2019 that Corbyn and Pete crossed swords, when Corbyn dismissed Pete’s banner as “antisemitic” which the artist Carlos Latuff considered to be shameful. He tweeted to Corbyn “No, Mr Jeremy Corbyn, that banner was not disgusting…[you] ordered removal of a banner with a Mondoweiss cartoon I made in defence of you! Shame on you!”
